Vanilla is a work in progress software clone of the Wii U gamepad, Everything should be considered alpha as best This is a temporary fallback option and is not a permanent solution in case you can’t use your Wii U for some reason(region locked gamepad, hardware fault etc…)
You’ll need a wifi adapter that supports 802.11n 5GHz as a minimum, newer standards are backwards compatible as long as they can run on 5GHz Currently supported platforms are:
- Linux (limited hardware support)
- Windows (currently frontend only)
- Android (currently frontend only)
- Raspberry Pi (requires a external wifi adapter)
- Nintendo Switch
