An unofficial, native PC port for Nintendo's classic GameCube platformer, Super Mario Sunshine, has been released, allowing fans to play the game on Windows and Linux without relying on emulators.

The port features a streamlined launcher for setup, graphics, controls, and other options, bringing a variety of PC-centric enhancements:

  • Visual Enhancements: Supports rendering at up to 8x the original resolution, alongside 2x, 4x, or 8x MSAA, FXAA, up to 16x anisotropic filtering, and sharpening. It also includes one-click installation for a UHD texture pack that replaces over 2,000 textures, plus HD versions of all 21 in-game movies.
  • Performance & Display: Runs at a smooth 60 FPS while maintaining normal game speed. It supports windowed, borderless, and fullscreen modes, as well as ultra-widescreen displays up to 32:9.
  • Controls & Camera: Includes native keyboard and mouse support with a customizable free camera, adjustable camera speed, and fully remappable key bindings. Controllers like Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch Pro gamepads are supported automatically.
  • Extras: Features built-in online co-op for up to eight players, support for game mods, and an integrated performance overlay.
