This impressive fan project allows you to experience the notoriously challenging classic natively on your PC, entirely revamped for modern displays.
Troygentic didn't just port the base game; they went the extra mile by completely reworking the game's classic sprites. While the visual overhaul for the entire map isn't finished just yet, the starting areas are fully complete and look incredible in action.
Beyond the graphical upgrade, this HD remake brings a host of highly requested quality-of-life features:
- True Widescreen Support: The game expands the real scenery on the sides of the screen rather than simply stretching the 4:3 image.
- Two-Player Co-op: A second Link can join the adventure either locally on the same system or online.

To avoid the legal crosshairs of Nintendo, this project does not contain any copyrighted in-game assets. Players are required to provide their own legally obtained ROM of the game to play.
