This page serves as an installation guide for replacing the N64's stock controller stick with an aftermarket one. The installation steps are the same for all self-contained joystick assemblies.

Installation
The install is easy and pretty quick.
- Remove the 7 screws on the back of the controller.
- Remove the 3 screws holding the joystick assembly in and unplug the cable connecting it to the mainboard.
- Swap the joystick assembly out for the new one. Below is an example of a joystick assembly.
- Reassemble and enjoy!
