A single, organized reference for every cheat and secret currently documented for Portal 2.
Save your game before using cheats. Some codes may disable achievements or trophies for the current session.
Portal 2 developer-console commands
Enable the console
In Keyboard settings, enable the developer console, press ~, load a local map, then enter sv_cheats 1.
Useful commands
- god — toggle invulnerability
- noclip — toggle flight and collision
- notarget — prevent AI targeting
- impulse 101 — give standard weapons where supported
- ent_create_portal_weighted_cube — spawn a weighted cube
- ent_create_portal_companion_cube — spawn a companion cube
- ent_create_portal_reflector_cube — spawn a reflection cube
Use these in local play or a private server you control. Protected commands do not work on normal public servers.
