The Sony Citation KV-1375 was a high-end 13" Trinitron released exclusively to the Japanese market in 1977. Marketed as a sleek luxury device and branded after the Cessna Citation jet.
This release was notable enough to make it into Sony's Design Gallery.
Shortly after its release, the base model KV-1375 was replaced by the KV-1375A, which featured dual RCA mono audio outputs on the rear of the set for connecting an external sound system or tape recorder.
The following year Sony released another revision in 1978, the KV-1375D, an updated version of the KV-1375A model which implemented a 3.5mm jack "音声多重出力" (audio multiplex output). The multiplex output allowed viewers to experience stereo audio from special broadcasts with the use of a "multiplex sound adapter" (for example, the Sony MLV-2000)
