The Sony KV-14D2 Prism G.T. (Game and Television) is a 14" consumer CRT only sold in Japan. It was available in three colors (silver, red and green) and retailed for 57,800 yen.
Sony re-used the KV-14D2 body design for many television models globally, there are a number of televisions with different feature sets and colors (ex: the KV-1331 and KV-1354R from the American market)
Below the 12 regular tuner preset buttons, a 13th button labeled Hit can be found: the channel stored on this program is received from the front RF input, called a "Hit connector" (Hit端子) and intended for the convenience of game console and home computer users (note how the Sony home computer line is called Hit-Bit; in fact, this model was advertised as ideal for the HB-55 MSX).[1]
