Riivolution is an on-the-fly game patcher for use with retail discs. It allows users to place content on their SD or USB devices, which will be read by the game during regular play.

It can be used for custom textures, music, levels, memory patches, game translations, and more!

Installation

  1. Download the app from its official website.
  2. Extract the riivolution folder to the "apps" folder on your SD card. It will then show up in The Homebrew Channel.
  3. Launch the app from The Homebrew Channel. Optionall, click the "Install" button to install a Riivolution channel onto your System Menu for easy access. This can always be uninstalled.
  4. Download desired patches from the Patch Templates page (or elsewhere) and place them in the directory specified for that game. On next launch of Riivolution, the game will appear there with patch options.
  5. Click "Launch" on a game to launch it with the chosen patches.
