Launch Motherboards (1.0/1.1)
- The first board revision, which doesn't actually have an official code-name. These use a 12 pin single-row connector for the power supply, unlike future Xbox PCB revisions. The earliest "1.0" motherboards also have the front panel controller ports connect to a USB daughter-board rather than directly to the Xbox motherboard, unlike "1.1" and later.

Xblade Motherboards (1.2/1.3/1.4)
- Xblade was a minor overhaul to the Xbox PCB. Now uses the XGPU-S. Components on the bottom section of the PCB were reconfigured. The power supply connector was revised to use a 20 pin Molex connector, the same as the ATX standard, though the actual pinout and signaling is far different compared compared to a normal PC PSU.
- 1.2 and 1.3 revisions are visually identical. The only change for 1.3 is with the MCPX itself, lacking the LFRAME connection from it to the LPC header.
- With 1.4, the previous Conexant CX25871-13 video encoder was replaced with the Focus FS454 video encoder, but is otherwise the same as the 1.3.

Tuscany Motherboards (1.6/1.6b)
- Motherboard was vastly redesigned. Spots for extra RAM were removed. SMC and TSOP Flash ROM ICs were integrated into a proprietary IC code-named Xyclops, while the video encoder was replaced with the proprietary Xcalibur IC. GPU was also revised to use the XGPU-B, which appears to have higher efficiency than the previous Xbox GPUs.
