Playing the Classics: Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Gets an Unofficial PC Port
For years, PC gamers have eagerly awaited the arrival of the original trilogy in the acclaimed action-adventure franchise. While Sony eventually brought Uncharted 4 to the platform, the first three classic titles remained console exclusives. Now, thanks to the growing PC recompilation scene, enthusiasts can finally play Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection directly on PC.
Key Features and PC Options
Developed by the same creator behind the unofficial PC port of Bloodborne, this release includes a dedicated launcher to easily manage and play all three games. It also introduces a wide array of modern PC settings, including:
High Framerate Support: Runs smoothly beyond 60 FPS. Testing shows hardware like an AMD Ryzen 5 7500F paired with 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER can push a steady 120 FPS at native 1440p.
Full Mouse & Keyboard Support: Precision aiming and camera movement provide an alternative control scheme for third-person action gameplay.
Advanced Upscaling & Frame Generation: Supports TAA, AMD FSR 3.1, AMD FSR 4, and NVIDIA DLSS (DLAA), alongside AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation and NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Multi-Frame Generation.
Current Beta Status and Known Issues
Because this is the initial public release, it is currently treated as a beta build. While it offers a fantastic way to experience the trilogy, minor bugs exist. For instance, experimental framerates above 120 FPS can occasionally trigger instability, and rare visual glitches (such as brief green or black flashing shapes on character models in Uncharted 3) are already being investigated by the developer for future patches
