Creating Save Backups

You can Create Save Backups to Preserve your save. transfer it to an Emulator or another Console

You can use JKSV or Checkpoint to backup the Save they are very similar

Backing Up a Save via JKSV

1. Open HB Appstore from the HB Menu or title Takeover
2. Search for JKSV
3. install JKSV
4. Open JKSV From the HB Menu
5. login as the User the save you want to backup is linked to
   • Note Some Games have a Shared Save between all Users i.e Ring Fit Adventure and some are not saved on the system and are linked to the Nintendo Account Used i.e Online Games
6. A list of games will appear that have been saved at least once
7. pick the Game you want to backup the save of
8. Click Create New Backup
9. Name the Backup or keep it blank to be named after the date it was made
10. you can now access, move and edit the Backup from your SD Card in the JKSV Folder
11. Move the Backup to a safe location using one of the following Methods in this guide

Restoring a Backup Via JKSV

1. Open JKSV
2. Login to the User you want the Save to be linked to
3. Click the Game it is from or Click Restore Backup
4. Choose pick a Backup from the list
5. the Backup will be restored to the System
