GoldHEN[1] is the main payload that enables the installation and running of homebrew on exploited PS4s. Unlike MiraCFW — which is a development-oriented payload that also includes homebrew support — GoldHEN is more user-oriented with additional quality of life improvements and new features.

Debug Settings
Package Installer
- The Package Installer allows you to install pkg files from a plugged in USB drive formatted in ExFAT or FAT32 or from the internal storage path /data/pkg.
- Install all allows you to install all available pkgs.
- Enabling "Background Installation" disables "Install all".
Package Source
- Package Source sets the directories to be parsed for pkgs.
Package Source options
- Usb [usb:/] - The path of a plugged in USB drive this is the default setting.
- Hdd [hdd:/data/pkg/] - Sets it to parse the internal storage path /data/pkg.
- All - Parses all available locations.
Enable Search Directories
- This options enables the parsing of subdirectories/subfolders.
- Folders starting with a dot (e.g., ".test") and those containing a ".ignore" file will be automatically skipped.
Enable Background Installation
- Allows for pkgs to be installed in the background.
- Enabling this option disables the "Install all" option.
Show Package Info
- Shows file metadata.
Show Package Path
- Shows you the path of the file in the storage device internal and external.
Enable Debug Settings
- Enables the Debug Menu in Settings.
Enable Game Debug Settings
- Enables Game Debug Settings when pressing the "Options" button on a game.

Game Overlay
- In game overlay with FPS and other data.
Server Settings
Enable FTP Server
- Creates an FTP server on port 2121. Requires an internet connection of any kind.
Enable BinLoader Server
- Creates a BinLoader Server on port 9090. Requires an internet connection of any kind.
Klog
- Software UART on port 3232. Telnet, Netcat or TCP required and an internet connection of any kind.
Settings
Enable Rest Mode Support
- Keeps GoldHEN alive after suspension.
- The following settings are recommended for better performance and stability.
Enable PPPoE Patch
- Prevents PPPoE for PPPwn if your exploit device does not detect GoldHEN is loaded.
