The Nintendo Switch is a console from the eighth generation of video game consoles. Originally released on March 3rd, 2017, the Switch was unique in its ability to be used both as a hand-held and a docked console. A cost-reduced handheld-only model — the Switch Lite — was released on September 20th, 2019 — followed by an OLED version of the original console on October 10th, 2021.
